Ahangama/Koggala
Ahangama and Koggala villages are small coastal villages, next to each other, on the south coast with a stretch of beautiful sandy beaches. With great reef breaks, the beaches are perfect for both beginners and expert surfers. Around the beach, there are a few surf schools and gear rental stores.
Ahangama and Koggala are also well-known for its stilt fishermen.
