Deepavali

Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is a Hindu festival celebrated worldwide in October or November each year. Diwali celebrations can continue for up to five days, with the major event taking place on the last day of the first month of the Hindu calendar.

People wear new clothes and give presents and well-wishes with family and friends as they celebrate the goddess of riches, known as “Lakshmi.”
