Knuckles Mountain Range

The 34-peak mountain range is composed of a variety of forest forms, including dry evergreen forests, montane forests, sub-montane forests, wet and dry plain grassland, and cloud forest. The highest point is 1906m above sea level.

The Knuckles Conservation Forest is home to a variety of indigenous plants and wildlife. This hikers’ paradise features various mountain paths, a diverse range of terrains, ecosystems, streams and flowing waterfalls, habitats, tea plantations, and paddy fields. The Knuckles Mountain Range is also an excellent destination for eco-tourism and mountain biking.

The weather in the range is erratic, although rain is most likely from June to September.
