Program:

Arrival – Our representative will page the guest’s name board at the airport on arrival as per the flight details given to us by the guest. Any amendments to flight details will have to be informed 24 hours before arrival.

Departure – Our representative will call over at the hotel to pick you up according to the flight details given by you.

The tour itineraries have been designed assuming the arrival to Colombo in the morning and the departure in the nighttime. Change of those will tend to change the itinerary slightly.

The travel time depends on traffic and the condition of the road. Route and stops are only suggested.

Sightseeing and activities will depend on the weather.

Our itineraries are entirely flexible and we can adjust them as you wish, adding any extra night and/or choosing among other hotel or villa options for your accommodation.

All your inquiries will be attended to immediately.

 

The price includes: 

Price mentioned is per person based on sharing a double room in USD

Accommodation in standard room

Meal on HB (Breakfast and Dinner)

Transportation by air-conditioned vehicle as per the itinerary

All sightseeing entrance fees and cost of excursions as per the itinerary

Government tax and service charge

Bottles of mineral water on tour (500ml) per person per day

Any expenses of personal nature

Lunch throughout the tour (can be arranged at extra cost)

Air Ticketing and Visa arrangements

Entrance fees and transportation fares not mentioned in the itinerary

Tips, porterage, laundry, Wi-Fi, local and international telephone calls

Camera and video permits

Travel and medical insurance

Early check-in and late check-out

Foreign exchange service charges

Professional tourist guide service (can be provided at extra cost)

Service of English-speaking chauffeur guide (can be provided at extra cost)

Any other services not specified above

 

Check-in and Check-out:

The official check-in time at all hotels will be 12:00 pm to 02:00 pm (depending on the hotel).

The official check-out time at all hotels will be 11:00 am.

Hotel check-in / check-out times are fixed and there are no guarantees for early check-in or late check-out unless paid for.

 

Child policy:

Children between 0-5 years will be accommodated on a bed sharing basis with parents/adults’ room free of charge.

Discount of 30% on adult sharing double room rate for children from 06 to 12 years.

Please note that the extra bed in a triple room will be foldable and rollaway.

 

Triple room policy:

Discount of 10% on adult sharing double room rate for the third person.

Please note that the extra bed in a triple room will be foldable and rollaway.

 

For Group tours, please enquire before proceeding with the reservation.

 

Do and Don’ts

It is recommended to use comfortable and light clothing suitable for a hot, humid climate. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat, and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.

The temperature is very low in the central highlands, especially in the morning and night. Pack suitable clothes.

Pack suitable shoes and clothes if your itinerary includes trekking, hiking, or cycling.

Children must be accompanied by adult/s.

When you are going to visit temples, you will need clothes (preferred light colors) that cover your shoulders and your knees. Shoes/sandals, slippers, hats, and head covers should be removed before

entering a temple and Hindu shrine. However, socks are allowed.

Taking pictures is not allowed on some attractions and in front of the Buddha statues. Please check before.

Don’t touch street/stray dogs, cats, and other wild animals.

Don’t touch temple paintings and statues.

Don’t pluck or collect flora and fauna.

You can 24hrs contact us if any needs arise & we will be happy to serve you in such situation.

We don’t responsible for any touts, hawkers, and strangers intervening troubles, but we will assist you.

We will not accept any responsibility or liability in case transfers provided by a third party not arranged by Timeshare Holidays (PVT) LTD.

Please do note, on departure day that you must be at the airport three hours before the flight.

 

Confirmation of Reservations:

Full details of the hotel or tour package you have requested, or the alternative that we have booked for you, will be provided. Please check that the details on the invoice are correct. Reservations will

be confirmed within 36 hours when you confirm your holiday booking by making the requested payment. In the unlikely event of a confirmed hotel booking being unavailable, we will use our best efforts

to supply a similar class of accommodation within the same geographical area. If you cancel or alter your booking, later on, you may have to pay an amendment charge. We reserve the right to refuse your

booking. If we do this, we will refund any money already paid to us.

 

Cancellation policy:

In the case of Cancellation must be informed in E-mail or written notification from the person who made the booking with us. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive E-mail or

written notification and cancellation charges would be as follows:

         45 days or more prior to arrivel-25% charges on total invoice value with banking, and administration charges

         30-44 days prior to arrival – 50% charges on total invoice value with banking, and administration charges

         29 days or less, and No shows -100% charge on total invoice value.

 

Cancellation by Us:

We reserve the right to cancel your holiday because of unforeseen circumstances. In this event we will return all money paid by you and, wherever possible, we will offer an alternative hotel of similar

features. We cannot be held liable for any incidental expenses that you may incur during arrangements for a holiday that is subsequently canceled by us.

If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., bad weather, country unrest) we shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour hasn’t

already commenced.

 

Payment policy:

We should receive payment of 50% of the invoice value no later than 45 days prior to the arrival and the balance of the invoice value no later than 20 days, if not we have the right to cancel the booking.

Once you have made the payment, bank remittances advise to be sent to scanned email.

 

Due to high occupancy, the hotels accept only the confirmed bookings. Hence if mentioned hotels/rooms will not be available at the time client make the advance payment we will do our best to fulfill

your requirement the alternate similar category hotels on an immediate basis. In case of any price fluctuations due to a change of hotels, we will send a revised quotation.

 

The rates are subject to current government taxes. If any taxes are revised including VAT, the rates quoted will be revised accordingly.

There may be an unforeseen escalation in fuel prices, entrance fees, and new levies shall also be payable extra and shall be billed accordingly with reasonable prior notice.

 

Force Majeure:

We are not responsible, directly or indirectly, for any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control such as natural disasters, fire, adverse weather conditions, industrial disputes, political closures or

any untoward incidents.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country.

Visit wildlife parks will be at the client’s own risk. Safari Vehicles are very basic (not air-conditioned) with basic insurance cover.

All baggage and personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.

If you face any problem during your holiday, please inform the relevant supplier (e.g., your hotelier, transporter, etc.) and/or our representative immediately who will endeavor to set things right.

If your complaint is not resolved locally, please follow this up within 28 days of your return home by writing to us, with your booking reference and all other relevant information. However, please be

advised that while we are happy to assist you in the redressal of your complaint, if any, we will be able to extend only our best efforts in managing/coordinating your complaint with the respective service

provider. All third-party service providers are independent contractors who are at no time under our control or supervision.

 

Visa and Passport:

All visitors traveling to Sri Lanka must have a passport valid for a minimum of 6 months from the date of entry.  A tourist visa is issued, free of charge, upon entry that is valid for 30 days.  A return or onward

airline ticket is sometimes requested.

All Holiday or Business travelers to Sri Lanka must have Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) for entering Sri Lanka. Please visit www.eta.gov.lk for more information.
