Day 1
Meet and assist at Colombo Airport and proceed to Kegalle– Kegalle is an agricultural district with extensive rubber plantations, as well as minor export products such as coffee, cocoa, pepper, clove, and nutmeg.
In the afternoon, enjoy Village Walk (2hrs)- The route takes you through paddy fields and rubber plantations, with stops for river swimming and birding.
Overnight Stay at: Kegalle
Travel Time: 2hrs 15min (approx.) – Colombo Airport to Kegalle

Day 2
After breakfast, visit Arankele Forest Monastery Ruins (1hr 30min)- A cave hermitage from the sixth century perched on a wooded mountainside. The green sylvan surroundings will fully calm and revitalize you.
In the afternoon, visit Kurulu Kele Sanctuary (2hrs)- Because of its vast bird and plant variety, the region was designated as a sanctuary in 1941. The sanctuary provides spectacular vistas for photography as well as a relaxing experience away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Overnight Stay at: Kegalle
Travel Time: 1hrs 30min (approx.) – Kegalle to Arankele

Day 3
After breakfast, leave for Sigiriya– A small village that famous for the ruins of an ancient stronghold Sigiriya Rock Fortress. On the way, visit Ibbankatuwa Megalithic Tombs– The area was the burial ground of the prehistoric inhabitants between 700 BC – 400 BC. It depicts the civilization and way of life that ancient Sri Lankans used to live.
Explore Chena Cultivation (2hrs) – It is the oldest form of agriculture farming in Sri Lanka. Relish a delicious Traditional Lunch in a Chena Hut.
In the afternoon, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (2hrs)- It has been a unique harmony between nature and human imagination in Asia since the first millennium. The gardens of Sigiriya are among the oldest landscaped gardens in the world.
Village Walk in Sigiriya Village (1hr)- A place to understand the village life of Sri Lankans and birdwatching to experience a memorable evening.
Overnight Stay at Camp: Jungle Camp- Sigiriya
Travel Time: 2hrs 40min (approx.) – Kegalle to Sigiriya

Day 4
After breakfast, leave for Knuckles Mountain Range– A place of a greater extent untouched zone of significant natural beauty and biodiversity. On the way, visit Namal Uyana Pink Quartz Mountain (1hrs)- The sanctuary is Asia’s largest Ceylon Ironwood Forest, botanically Mesua ferrea, and pink quartz mountain.
In the afternoon, Village Walking gives an opportunity to experience the simple charm of traditional village life.

Day 5
Early morning, leave for Trekking to Nitro Caves (5hrs)- A large cave network. The highest altitude point of the trail is called Corbett’s Gap and the village “Meemure” is one of the traditional villages hidden deep inside Knuckles Mountain range.
In the afternoon, visit Meemure Village (2hrs 30min)– surrounded by the Knuckles Mountain Range is one of the most remote villages in Sri Lanka. Mostly untainted by the outside world. The trail to the village is rich with flora and fauna of the Knuckles ecosystem. You can experience a traditional Sri Lankan lunch at a village house and take a dip and bathe in the stream.

Day 6
After breakfast, leave for Ella– A scenic village with a cool climate.
In the afternoon, trekking to Little Adam’s Peak (2hrs)- The most famous mountain and attraction in Ella Village. It is one of the best opportunities to enjoy the scenic mountain range.

Travel Time: 4hrs 30min (approx.) – Knuckles to Ella

Day 7
After breakfast, visit Yala- A small village famous for its the spectacular wilderness.
In the afternoon, visit Yala National Park for Jeep Safari (3hrs)- The second largest national park in Sri Lanka and it boasts the highest density of leopards in Asia, bears, elephants, crocodiles, deer and birds.
Overnight Stay at: Yala
Travel Time: 4hrs 30min (approx.) – Ella to Yala

Day 8
After breakfast, leave for Ahungalla – The gorgeous sandy beach is mainly unspoiled by mass tourism, and the coastline stretch is excellent for watersports, the sun and sand.
In the afternoon, visit Sea Turtles Conservation and Research Center (1hr) – Where you can help bury the sea turtle eggs in our premises in order to rescue them from the poachers or Take care of cleaning, feeding and helping the turtles in whatever way possible. It’s a truly meaningful experience. Thereafter, enjoy village walk and relax at the beach.

Travel Time: 3hrs 20min (approx.) – Yala to Ahungalla

In the morning, relax at the beach.
In the afternoon, leave for Colombo Airport for your Departure.
