Day 1

Meet and assist at Colombo Airport and proceed to Galle– A historical city on southern coast in Sri Lanka.

In the afternoon, visit Galle Dutch Fort (2hrs)- A place of history, romance and beauty. The place for the visual metaphor for colonial history of Sri Lanka. Thereafter, City Walk (1hr 30min)- The city outside of the Galle Dutch Fort is worth a visit to photograph street vistas and know about the native way of life.

Overnight Stay at: Galle
Travel Time: 2hrs 20min (approx.) – Bandaranayake International Airport to Galle

Day 2 (Season: December to April)

Early morning, visit Mirissa for Whale Watching (3 to 4hrs)- Mirissa is the best and most
popular coast to sail into the ocean for Whale watching. Spend time walking around and observing the local fishermen’s way of life to have a picture of the typical fishing village lifestyle in Sri Lanka.

In the afternoon, visit Stilt Fishermen (30min) – Age old traditional way of fishing by sitting on a
pole fixed to the shallow bottom of the sea where the fisher men sit to make their daily catch.
Spend time walking around and observing the local fishermen’s way of life to have a picture of
the typical fishing village lifestyle in Sri Lanka.

Relax at the beach.

Travel Time: 1hr (approx.) – Galle to Mirissa

Day 3

After breakfast, visit Yala– A small village famous for its the spectacular wilderness.

In the afternoon, visit Yala National Park for Jeep Safari (3hrs)- The second largest national park in Sri Lanka and it boasts the highest density of leopards in Asia, bears, elephants, crocodiles, deer and birds.

Overnight Stay at: Yala
Travel Time: 3hrs 15min (approx.) – Mirissa to Yala

Day 4

After breakfast, leave for Ella– Ella entices visitors with its pleasant temperature and stunning surroundings.

In the afternoon, hiking to Little Adam’s Peak and Nine Arch Bridge (3hrs) – The most famous mountain and attraction in Ella Village. It is one of the best opportunities to enjoy the scenic mountain ranges and the sunset.

Travel Time: 3hrs 30min (approx.) – Yala to Ella
Meal: Breakfast

Day 5

After breakfast, leave for Kandy – Kandy was the last kingdom and is now Sri Lanka’s second largest city.

Train Journey from Ella to Nuwara Eliya (1hr 30min) – One of the most scenic train rides in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is surrounded by misty mountain ranges, pine forests and tea cultivations. The average temperature is 16 C Celsius.

In the afternoon, visit for Nuwara Eliya City Walk (2hrs) – The best place to relax yourself feeling the cool pleasant climate of Sri Lanka. In this small town, you may visit the Old Post Office, Vegetable Market, and Fruit Stalls.

Overnight Stay at: Kandy
Travel Time: 1hr 30min (approx.) – Ella to Nuwara Eliya by Train
3hrs (approx.) – Nuwara Eliya to Kandy

Day 6

After breakfast, visit Sigirya– A small village that famous for the ruins of an ancient stronghold Sigiriya Rock Fortress. On the way, visit Temple of the Tooth Relic (1hr 30min)- The most important Buddhist relic, constructed mainly during the reign of Kandyan kings from 1687-1707 and 1747-1782.

In the afternoon, Village Walk (1hr) – A place to understand the village life of Sri Lankans and bird watching.

Overnight Stay at: Sigiriya
Travel Time: 2hrs 50min (approx.) – Kandy to Sigiriya
Meal: Breakfast

Day 7

After breakfast, climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (2hrs)- The spectacular rock fortress which is the best-preserved city center in Asia from the first millennium. The gardens of Sigiriya are among the oldest landscaped gardens in the world. The sight has been named as a UNESCO world heritage and the 8th wonder of the world.  Thereafter, Village Walk (1hr)- A place to understand the village life of Sri Lankans and birdwatching.

In the afternoon, leave for Colombo– The commercial capital of Sri Lanka.

Travel Time: 3hrs 50min (approx.) – Sigiriya to Colombo

Day 8

In the morning, relax at the hotel.

In the afternoon, leave for Colombo Airport for your Departure. On the way, Colombo City Tour (3hrs)- The commercial capital of the country. The sightseeing includes Galle Face Green Ocean-side Urban Park, the busiest Pettah Market for daily needs, Colonial Buildings (The Old Parliament Building, The Town Hall, The Clock Tower, The iconic Cargils Building, The President’s Palace), Seema Malakaya Temple in Beire Lake, Independence Memorial Hall, The Bandaranayake Memorial International Conference Hall, and Hindu Temple.

Travel Time: 50min (approx.) – Colombo to Bandaranayake International AIrport

Child policy:
